Welcome to the Modula-3 relay mailing list.

This mailing list is a relay of the comp.lang.modula3 Usenet
newsgroup.  Articles posted to that newsgroup are automatically
forwarded to the mailing list, once every few hours. 

You can also post an article to comp.lang.modula3 by sending it via
email to "m3@src.dec.com"; it will be relayed to the newsgroup right
away.

If you need to contact us (for example, to be removed from the list,
or to change your address), please send your message to
"m3-request@src.dec.com", NOT to "m3@src.dec.com".

From time to time, one of the addresses in the mailing list causes
trouble and we get error messages from various mailers.  When that
happens, we wait a few day to see if the situation is somehow
corrected.  After that, we simply remove the offending address,
without trying to reach the person (given that the address does not
work, it would very difficult for us to reach him or her).

If you don't get any message from the mailing list for more than a
week, it probably means that there is something broken somewhere, and
that we have removed you from the list; you may want to contact us at
"m3-request@src.dec.com", so that we reinsert you in the list.

The next message will be the Modula-3 FAQ, which will tell you, among
other things, where to find the archive of comp.lang.modula3.
