Van and Henry,

I think it would be great if one or more volunteers could be found who 
would take the work I did on the original IBM 704/709 FORTRAN/FORTRAN II 
as a "jumping off point", and do similar work on one or more later 
segments of Fortran's history: FORTRAN IV, the standardization work, 
compilers by other computer companies, fast turnaround compilers 
(WATFOR, etc.), etc.
