[SCC_Active_Members] On the appropriateness of Plone and the SCC web site for our current software collection activities

At today's SCC meeting, Sellam's question to me about my experience with 
the current Plone-based SCC web site caught me off-guard, and I didn't 
give a good answer.

The best answer would have been, "The choice of Plone in general, and 
the work that Mike Powell has done to personalize Plone for the SCC, 
have worked out fine for the things I've tried so far.  I'd especially 
like to thank Mike for his patience and persistence on a wide variety of 
issues, resulting in a state of affairs such that I could focus mostly 
on writing and organizing rather than web site issues."
