Tranlation responsive to Lee's attached request.
The body of this report includes approximately 100 pages of tables that
evaluate six extant content management offerings against criteria introduced
in the approximately six pages of introduction and summary that I've
translated to English from the original German.
The criteria alluded to are candidate input to the kind of repository
analysis alluded to in my SCC e-mails of 2/2/2005 ("Towards a CHM repository
requirements statement") and of 1/21/2005 ("SCC Deliverables and choice of a
SW base for the CHM repository").
In addition I am attaching a somewhat better organized proposed plan for
repository infrastructure deliverable than was included in a 2/12/2005
communication. For that, my current best guess at an appropriate interim
digital repository is Greenstone from New Zealand. I have made a tiny
beginning towards evaluating its suitability by installing it on a Linux
system that I run at home.
Critical reactions to the latter attachment would be helpful.
Best wishes, Henry

Could you do the translation of the summary and distribute to interested
parties. Thanks!
