Dear Paul,

That is an inspiring letter to the group!

Re the quote above, that was one of the goals that we had during the  
R&D phases of Expert Systems.. The technology and applications were  
moving swiftly for a while, then became asymptotic or even went into  
decline. For the analysis of what was going on, see a paper
or a videotape of mine called "Tiger In A Cage."  Maybe the Tiger can  
become Uncaged. (The CHM may have a copy of the videotape.)
