[SCC_Active_Members] Agenda for the 01-18-06 SCC Meeting --> shorten but what treat!!

You will find below the agenda for the "back to the original date" 23rd SCC
meeting to take place Wednesday January 18th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Noyce
Conference Room.

You will notice that the meeting has been shorten to 1 hour to allow
interested parties to attend a 7:00 pm lecture "An Evening with Michael
Ruettgers", Chairman of the Board, EMC Corporation that is taking place that
evening.

You will notice also a change of venue from the standard and smaller Hopper
Conference room upstairs to the much larger Noyce conference room
downstairs; this is to allow the videotaping of Doug Engelbart's
demonstration of nls-augment that will constitute the main item and treat of
the evening.

We will dedicate 50 minutes or so to that presentation and few minutes for
coordination and introduction of future topics for future SCC meetings. Thus
there will be no formal agenda beyond this announcement.

It is quite an honor for us to be able to watch this demonstration and I
would like to thank Doug, Phil, Jonathan and many others volunteers and
staff for making this event possible.
