She wrote one of the first books on  the history of programming languages

"Programming Languages: History  and Fundamentals", 1969

The front piece is the classic "tower of babel"  language drawing.

She was also one of the main drivers behind the first  HOPL



She was also on the Board of Trustees of the Computer Museum in Boston (our  
antecedent) for many years and curated an exhibit on the History of 
Programming  Languages at the Museum in the mid '80's.
