[SPG_Active_Members] my project list

I've made a list of the software preservation projects I am actively pursuing:

  http://www.retrocomputingtasmania.com/home/projects/spg

to provide a link-target so I can direct people to the current state
of the project and provide motivation and impetus should anyone be
interested. I plan to add the software to each project page along with
whatever collateral and other notes I accumulate along the way.

Some projects are stalled due to lack of hardware ( for example:
waiting for parts to arrive for my paper-tape reader) or hitting
dead-ends finding the artifact - suggestions always welcome on where
to look or who to ask.

My ideal notion of "Recovered" is that not only is the artifact
captured in a modern digital format (and copied far and wide), but the
execution environment has been re-created so the artifact can be
experienced directly. This is my ultimate aim for these preservation
projects. My hope is one day we can have a smorgasbord of virtualized
(emulated) systems with accompanying directed walk-throughs and
classic documentation so that the original experience can be
recreated.

cheers,
nigel.
