It is a replacement for the list of wikis, that are built with arbitrary criteria by anyone that visits their websites, and that are not really serious.  In addition, historical languages with no compiler, but that may have influenced design of further work are included also, provided that the author of the further language has made a verifiable reference to them. This page may be printed and copied without any restriction. The information contained on this page may be used freely but the page itself should not be put on another website to avoid duplicate content. Each entry in the list has a link to a website or a download page for the compiler or the interpreter. For historical languages, a link to a dedicated website or a description.
