Yes, I learned Len was a member just after sending my first message to 
Rick; Len was cc'ed on the next batch of messages.

My original email (see attachment) outlined several possible ways that 
the ACM History Committee and CHM might collaborate, so Mark's letter 
should be taken as granting permission to CHM.
