Paul,
Thank for letting me know. I will try to attend.
I added the A format to Fortran in 1958. Was working on an ARPA Solid Rocket
fuel-analysis contract at IBM/SBC, and the Hollerith-field only FORTRAN IO
of that day was inadequate for labeling our outputs.
I was planning to present a brief note about that in Europe in eraly
November, but have canceled that trip - too much overhead.
